AVI Foodsystems is currently seeking a friendly and hardworking Market Attendant with open availability to join their team on a seasonal, part-time basis. This role offers a starting pay of $16 per hour and is based in Vandalia, OH. As a Market Attendant, you will play an essential role in the delivery and maintenance of vending machine stock across client locations. The job requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to interact positively with customers and team members alike. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving deliveries such as soft drinks, bakery products, snack items, and specialty foods. You will stock vending machines and coolers to proper inventory levels, ensuring that refrigeration standards for cold food products are maintained. Additionally, you will oversee merchandise ordering and inventory control to prevent shortages or overstock. Collecting unsold or stale products is also part of your duties to keep the vending areas clean and appealing. The role requires you to collect money from vending machines, including coins and bills, while maintaining positive communication with customers through professional and friendly interactions. Routine maintenance and sanitation of vending machines and clean vending areas are key components to promoting a safe, hygienic environment. This position demands an outgoing personality with the skills to promote products effectively, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team atmosphere.
