This role is a part-time, evening position at Corewell Health's Butterworth Hospital location in Grand Rapids, specifically within the Hospitality House department. The shift hours are from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., totaling 15 scheduled hours weekly with workdays and weekends varying every other weekend. The Visitor Services Representative serves as a visible and friendly point of contact, responsible for greeting visitors, staff, and patients, and guiding them to the appropriate resources with care, respect, and professionalism. This role is integral to ensuring a welcoming environment and smooth operational flow within the health system. It includes clerical duties, managing communication via telephone with compassion and clarity, and completing special projects as assigned with defined instructions. Accurate and timely documentation related to the responsibilities is also a critical aspect of the position. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Less than 2 years of related experience in customer service, sales, recruiting, human resources, computer and data entry, telecommunications, health care, receptionist, call center, administrative, or clerical
• Ability to communicate effectively with visitors, staff, and patients
• Ability to perform clerical duties with attention to detail
• Availability to work part-time evening shifts with a variable schedule including every other weekend
