Serena Pastificio is currently seeking a Server Assistant to join their vibrant team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standard of hospitality for which the restaurant is known. As a Server Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the servers by delivering food, clearing and resetting tables efficiently, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment. Your role helps ensure that every guest enjoys a warm, welcoming atmosphere and a seamless dining experience. Compensation includes a competitive hourly rate above industry standards plus tip-outs based on restaurant sales. This position requires a team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent communication skills, and is passionate about food, beverage, and customer service. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and late nights, as well as the physical capability to stand, bend, and carry up to 50 lbs, is also necessary for success in this role. - Previous experience as a server assistant is preferred or a minimum of 6 months experience in food service/hospitality
- Previous point of sale system experience is recommended
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to create memorable guest connections with food and beverages
- Willingness to learn menu and food offerings enthusiastically
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and management
- Ability to work a variable schedule including weekends and shifts from morning through late night
- Physical capability to stand, bend, kneel, lift and carry up to 50 lbs
