The role of Assistant Store Manager is a vital leadership position within the store, reporting directly to the Store Manager. This position supports store operations and helps cultivate a sales and service culture aimed at expanding the customer base and maximizing profitability. Responsibilities include driving sales performance, managing daily operational tasks such as payroll and inventory, recruiting and training team members, and ensuring the store meets all regulatory standards. The Assistant Manager will lead by example, fostering a welcoming and knowledgeable store atmosphere while resolving any customer issues efficiently. Additionally, maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring adherence to all applicable laws concerning alcohol sales are critical components of the role.

- Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day
- Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs overhead and repeatedly
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- 1-3 years of work experience
- 2+ years of managerial or supervisory role experience in retail
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Effective leadership and team development skills
