Acting as a food and beverage team member and a CRCR Ambassador, the Banquet Captain assumes personal responsibility for promoting the best interests of the business. This means maintaining high standards of service while supervising a team that includes Banquet Servers, Bartenders, and support personnel. Collaboration with clients and internal teams is essential to guarantee an outstanding guest experience throughout the event.
The Banquet Captain’s responsibilities encompass overseeing all logistical details associated with banquet events, including coordinating seating arrangements, menu selections, and special guest requests in close consultation with the Banquet Manager and clients. A strong emphasis is placed on leadership skills that motivate team members and ensure adherence to established departmental standards. The role requires excellent communication abilities to serve as the primary point of contact for clients during events, promptly addressing any concerns or service issues with professionalism and efficiency.
