This role is integral to the seamless operation of the Back of House and involves assisting the Kitchen Manager in a variety of functions that support the preparation, quality, and presentation of the restaurant’s made-from-scratch food offerings. The Assistant Kitchen Manager will play a leadership role within the kitchen team, supervising food production, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and service consistency. This position is responsible for monitoring ticket flow and pacing the kitchen during peak hours, managing inventory, tracking waste, and conducting regular quality checks like line taste and temperature inspections. Additionally, the Assistant Kitchen Manager will contribute to the training and development of kitchen staff, fostering a safe and productive environment that maintains Texas Roadhouse’s legendary standards. In this role, the successful candidate will act with hands-on leadership, sometimes stepping into roles such as cooking, serving, or hosting when non-scheduled assistance is needed.
