Reporting directly to the Regional Program Coordinator, the Community Service Coordinator plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations and management of various community-centered programs such as the Afterschool Program and Resident Social Services. This position is part-time and non-exempt with working hours scheduled Monday through Friday, from 2:00 PM until 6:30 PM. It offers an hourly wage range of $18.00 to $22.00, making it suitable for those looking to make a meaningful impact while working within a supportive and culturally rich environment.\n\nIn this role, the Community Service Coordinator uses a blend of supervisory skills, judgment, and community planning expertise to ensure the effectiveness and smooth operation of the Center's programs. Responsibilities include managing program administration activities, supervising residents, volunteers, and student interns, and ensuring compliance with all established guidelines and safety policies. The coordinator actively engages with the community, conducting outreach and establishing vital partnerships that enhance programming outcomes. The role also involves the preparation of materials, taking attendance, monitoring behavior, ensuring safety, and maintaining accurate record-keeping and reporting. Special events collaboration, such as coordinating with charitable organizations like Toys for Tots, is also an important feature of this position.                 - At least 48 units of college credit or related experience in education, youth development, or community services
 - Preferably bilingual
 - Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access)
 - Able to work in a fast-paced environment
 - Live scan fingerprint and background check required
 - Proof of negative TB test within the last 2 years
 - Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record for the past three years
 - Must commute between sites
 - First Aid, CPR, and AED certified or willing to obtain within 30 days
 - Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as necessary
 - Ability to establish partnerships to meet site and program requirements
