The goodtime hotel, located in the heart of Miami Beach, is part of a newly developed mixed-use project designed by Morris Adjmi and Ken Fulk. This vibrant property offers over 45,000 square feet of ground floor and retail space with exceptional storefronts that range in size from 500 to over 5,000 square feet. We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Front Office Manager to join the team at the goodtime hotel. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the Assistant Front Office Manager plays a vital role in ensuring seamless operation and exceptional guest service at the front desk. This position demands a friendly, efficient, and courteous approach to guest interactions, aiming to maximize room revenue and occupancy through strategic upselling and excellent customer care. The role involves collaborating closely with sales and reservations departments to fulfill special requests for VIPs and groups, managing guest reception, and responding to social media feedback to ensure guest satisfaction. This dynamic position includes coaching and training front office staff, upholding professional standards, and maintaining accurate financial records such as the house bank and daily deposits. The Assistant Front Office Manager must be capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, communicating effectively with guests, colleagues, and other departments. The role also requires oversight of guest profile management, preparation for special group events, VIP arrivals, and mandatory participation in emergency procedures and ongoing training. The candidate will be expected to maintain a detailed understanding of hotel events, local area amenities, and engage in problem-solving to resolve guest complaints promptly with a positive, proactive attitude.
