Integrated Deicing Services is a specialized company dedicated to providing safe, efficient, and professional deicing and anti-icing services to airline carriers. With a focused commitment to safety and operational excellence, Integrated Deicing Services plays a crucial role in maintaining aircraft safety and operational readiness during icy and winter weather conditions. The company operates in the aviation services industry, supporting airline customers by ensuring that aircraft are free from ice and frozen contaminants that may affect flight safety and performance. The company offers part-time seasonal positions and focuses on fostering a positive work environment with opportunities for career growth and development. Their employees benefit from competitive wages, flexible scheduling, employee assistance programs, discounts, and additional incentives such as referral bonuses and access to DailyPay. The role of Aircraft Deicer at Integrated Deicing Services is critical in the aviation safety chain. This position is part-time and seasonal, with an hourly wage of $18.00, offering a flexible schedule to accommodate the seasonal nature of the work. Aircraft Deicers are charged with the responsibility of inspecting aircraft for the presence of ice and frozen contaminants, thoroughly removing such hazards by applying deicing fluids typically composed of glycol-based solutions. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in outdoor and often harsh weather conditions. Aircraft Deicers must ensure a safe environment throughout the deicing and anti-icing procedures, strictly following all company and airline policies and procedures. Their duties include inspecting aircraft following deicing to verify the complete removal of frozen contamination, participating in pre-planning activities by checking and preparing equipment, and ensuring the proper shutdown and maintenance reporting for operational pads and related machinery. Successful candidates will undergo comprehensive classroom and on-the-job training to understand all safety and operational guidelines. The role demands physical capability to handle the rigors of working outdoors in adverse weather, including standing for extended periods, climbing heights, and handling equipment safely and efficiently. The position also necessitates strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to accurately interact with team members and airline personnel, and a valid driver’s license is required. Prospective employees must pass airport badging and background checks, as well as a drug-free workplace screening. Integrated Deicing Services values professionalism, confidentiality, and teamwork, creating a work environment that supports continuous improvement and employee well-being. This role not only contributes directly to flight safety but also offers career advancement prospects within the company, supported by extensive training and employee development opportunities.
