The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager position at Esplanade Lake Club HOA is an outstanding career opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest service. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager as well as other key personnel to ensure seamless dining experiences for club members and guests. This role encompasses a broad array of responsibilities including managing schedules for the restaurant, banquet, and beverage cart departments, overseeing alcohol beverage ordering and cost control, and collaborating with the kitchen team to uphold high food quality and expeditious ticket times. A key aspect of the position involves supporting budget development and cost analysis, as well as contributing to marketing initiatives for the restaurant and catering services to both internal and external audiences. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will be responsible for managing the floor during banquet events, enforcing table service standards, and ensuring all Troon Golf standards and procedures are implemented effectively. In addition, the role entails staff management duties such as interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating performance, and addressing any employee concerns. Leading a diverse team—including restaurant managers, catering managers, chefs, hosts, cooks, servers, and setup staff—requires strong leadership and organizational skills. This position also demands attention to workforce planning, monitoring productivity, and promoting safe work practices. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in hospitality management, particularly in club settings, and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and operational skills to advance the food and beverage services at Esplanade Lake Club HOA.
  • Associate's degree (AA) or six months to one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • minimum of 2 years in management preferably in a club setting
