The role of the Assistant Executive Kitchen Manager (AEKM) at Din Tai Fung’s Downtown Disney location in Anaheim, CA, offers a pivotal leadership opportunity within the kitchen operations. This full-time position comes with an annual base salary ranging from $112,000 to $140,000 plus eligibility for an annual incentive plan based on individual and company performance, reflecting the company’s commitment to rewarding excellence and leadership.
As the AEKM, you will be entrusted with supporting the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that food safety, brand standards, and operational excellence are upheld at all times. The position entails assisting in the management of kitchen staff, overseeing accurate and effective scheduling, and collaborating closely with Restaurant Support Center (RSC) personnel to ensure the team is well-trained and equipped with the latest procedures and operational standards. Your responsibilities will include involvement in hiring decisions, performance evaluations, and maintaining kitchen efficiency in partnership with the Executive Kitchen Manager (EKM) and other team leaders. You will also play a vital role in workforce management, recruiting BOH staff, managing operational systems such as inventory and ordering, and ensuring that all team members adhere to rigorous food safety and quality assurance protocols.
