The Exhibitor Services Manager position at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, OH, plays a pivotal role in delivering outstanding client service by acting as the primary liaison between exhibitors and facility departments. This salaried exempt role, reporting to the Director of Operations within the Operations Department, is responsible for supervising and coordinating the execution and logistics of exhibitor services. The manager oversees processing electrical, utilities, cleaning, and telecommunications orders while maintaining strong communication channels with the Utility Services Manager, Exhibitor Services Coordinator, electricians, engineers, subcontractors, and other operations staff. 
The role requires flexibility and a commitment to work irregular hours, including long days, early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on event schedules. The manager ensures smooth event operations by managing exhibitor service orders, providing on-site support at the Exhibitor Services Desk during trade and consumer shows, and assisting with event coverage when needed. Responsibilities include customizing exhibitor kits in collaboration with event management, collecting payments, resolving customer issues promptly, conducting room setup inspections, and enforcing facility policies. This position demands excellent interpersonal and decision-making skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and thorough knowledge of facility systems such as electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and telecommunications. The Exhibitor Services Manager also supports client relations and financial reporting, making crucial decisions to represent the facility professionally and maintain a positive working atmosphere with all stakeholders.                 - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university
 - Four years related experience and/or training in the public assembly industry in a supervisory or management position
 - Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
 - Ability to multi-task and prioritize within time constraints
 - Ability to work effectively in a service-oriented environment subject to changing priorities
 - Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling conflicts
 - Knowledge of operational procedures, facility capabilities, industry terminology, and event-related services
 - Thorough understanding of electrical, mechanical, HVAC and other facility systems
 - Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and related materials
 - Ability to operate a personal computer with MS-DOS, CAD, Windows, Word, Excel, Momentous, BlueBeam and other standard office equipment
 - Licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the United States
 - Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
 - Self-motivated and able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
 - Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
 - Must remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur
