The Forward Planner position at Serco supports the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) and plays a vital role in logistics and operational planning. This full-time role is a compelling opportunity to work on high-impact government contracts both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS), with occasional travel up to 50 percent of the time to support Department of Defense clients. The role includes managing day-to-day operations for the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP), performing comprehensive research and analysis of policy and industrial issues, and maintaining detailed LOGCAP contract requirements packages. This position requires professional expertise in developing briefings, memos, and reports in compliance with Army regulations as well as active collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The Forward Planner monitors evolving operational requirements, participates in training and exercises, develops curriculum content, and manages event schedules and Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) injects.
This role requires 10 years of experience supporting Joint, U.S. Army, or component-level headquarters, along with demonstrated proficiency in logistics, deployment, and combat support operations. Candidates should possess an active Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, a high school diploma or equivalent, and advanced military education such as Intermediate Level Education (MEL4) and Support Operations Course (Phase 2). Mastery of Microsoft Office applications and strong knowledge of the Joint Operation Planning Process (JOPP) are essential. The salary range for this position is $82,776.46 to $134,510.73, depending on experience, education, and skills.
