The role of Area Manager at Breeze Airways is a crucial leadership position responsible for overseeing all Guest Services ground activities and daily operations at assigned locations. The Area Manager plays a vital role in managing both team members and business partner teams, ensuring that operation standards meet the highest safety, security, and service expectations in alignment with Breeze policies and procedures. This position requires a hands-on leader who can motivate diverse teams, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive operational efficiency and cost control.
This role encompasses responsibility for the development and management of safety programs, station audits, and compliance with DOT, FAA, and Breeze guidelines. The Area Manager is also tasked with resolving guest service failures, managing station budgets, and ensuring interdepartmental coordination among Flight Operations, Inflight Service, and Technical Operations. With a strong focus on safety-conscious culture and team wellbeing, the Area Manager creates tactical and strategic plans tailored to each station's unique needs.

- High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement
- 5+ years experience in Customer Service or a related area
- 5+ years experience in airport operations and customer service
- 5+ years experience guiding large, diverse business partner teams
- Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- High performance orientation, ability to work well under pressure, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and maintain flexibility
- Self-starter must have a positive attitude and strong desire for success
- Complete projects on time with minimal supervision, ability to work varied hours when necessary to meet deadlines
- Knowledgeable in Airport Operations, Ground Operations, and regulatory agencies
- Outstanding leadership capabilities, with ability to guide and motivate
- Able to work flexible hours and be available for emergency response and on short notice
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license from the state of your primary residence
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge
- Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the USA
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Ground Security Coordinator certification
