This role is for a Sales Associate at Williams-Sonoma, focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience by actively engaging with clients and offering personalized, knowledgeable service. The Sales Associate will play a vital role in creating a vibrant store atmosphere that energizes both customers and teammates. Responsibilities include efficiently managing sales transactions through Point of Sale systems, ensuring accurate pricing and product knowledge, and proactively informing customers about promotional offers and upcoming events. In addition, the associate will contribute to maintaining visual standards, resolving customer issues with resourcefulness, and fostering a supportive environment aligned with the company’s People First culture. - Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
- Ability to operate POS system
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role
- Full-time associates must have open availability
- Part-time associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled weekend shifts and two during the week
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
