As a Housekeeper, the incumbent is responsible for responding promptly to guest requests and coordinating with other departments to fulfill service needs efficiently. Duties include preparing and transporting supplies, entering guest rooms following strict safety and security protocols, replacing guest amenities and linens, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, removing trash, and ensuring all appliances in guest rooms are functioning properly. The Housekeeper also straightens furnishings, dusts, polishes, and vacuums carpets and floors to maintain pristine guest environments.
Emphasis is placed not only on physical tasks but also on professionalism and teamwork. Housekeepers are expected to observe and report maintenance issues, adhere to safety policies, complete required training, maintain uniform standards, and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
