The Director of Finance is responsible for supervising, supporting, and coordinating a wide array of financial activities to drive the hotel’s success. This leadership role involves developing and implementing property-wide financial strategies that align with the hotel’s mission to exceed the expectations of guests and employees alike. The role encompasses providing vital financial expertise for the successful implementation of service standards and brand initiatives, maximizing return on investment for owners and the Dorchester Collection. Key responsibilities include overseeing internal control systems, conducting balance sheet reviews, and enhancing financial forecasting and budgeting processes. The Director of Finance will analyze and interpret complex financial data, communicate insights to the Dorchester Collection’s VP Finance and General Manager, and serve as a trusted financial advisor to the General Manager.
