This role is integral to maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment that supports the delivery of high-quality dining experiences for residents. The Dishwasher contributes significantly to the smooth operation of the culinary team by handling the washing, sanitizing, and storage of all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and related equipment used in the kitchen and dining rooms. In this role, employees will work closely with the Director of Culinary Services and the Executive Director to enhance resident satisfaction with food and dining programs. Maintaining a restaurant-style dining atmosphere through cleanliness and prompt service is a key responsibility. Dishwashers also support meal service by preparing dishwashing stations, cleaning kitchen floors, managing trash, and assisting with the transportation and storage of food supplies. Additional responsibilities include participation in the Art of Atria Dining enhancement programs, assisting cooks and wait staff as needed, and supporting special events such as banquets and theme meals.
