This job opening is for the position of F-35 Material Handler based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, within Lockheed Martin’s Aeronautics business unit. The role is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position working multiple shifts that include one day shift and one mid-shift. The F-35 Material Handler is essential in supporting high-volume depot operations by ensuring the accurate packing, handling, shipping, and receiving of materials and assets related to the F-35 program. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, a comprehensive understanding of government supply warehouse procedures, and a strong grasp of critical programs such as Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), Quality, Foreign Object Debris (FOD), Security, and Training.
The successful candidate will possess extensive experience with inventory management, material control, and shipping best practices, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. They will be adept at using barcode readers and conducting periodic inspections and warehouse inventories to maintain seamless operational flow. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds are necessary physical requirements for the role. The candidate must be a US citizen and capable of obtaining a Secret security clearance, as the position is located at a secured facility requiring special access.
