This hybrid role is based at BMO's Los Angeles office, located at 300 S. Grand Avenue. The role involves planning, developing, and executing both internal and external event strategies designed to enhance BMO's brand image and reputation. The position supports the customer experience by managing diverse events such as board dinners, awards ceremonies, conferences, sponsorship and charity events, and large employee initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and upholding event standards and best practices to consistently communicate the BMO brand with impact and effectiveness.
Key responsibilities include managing event logistics, budgeting, staffing, and vendor relationships, often dealing with contract negotiations. The role requires working collaboratively with various business groups and partners within the company to ensure successful event execution. The professional will also help identify opportunities for BMO executives to boost their community engagement through public speaking, presentations, and active participation in external activities. The role demands independent work on complex tasks, exercising sound judgment to resolve issues within established guidelines. On occasion, broader enterprise-wide initiatives may be part of the responsibilities.
Candidates joining BMO in this role can expect a salary range between $69,000 and $127,800, reflecting variation based on location, expertise, and qualifications.
