As an Applebee's Assistant Manager within the Flynn Group, you play a vital role in the everyday operations of the restaurant. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires active engagement with both guests and staff to create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere. Assistant Managers are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of customer service, team motivation, and operational efficiency. You will need to be a strong leader, capable problem solver, and able to manage stress effectively while ensuring that both guests and employees have the best experience possible. Alongside operational tasks, you will promote Flynn Group’s values and help cultivate a workplace culture centered on respect, teamwork, and excellence. The position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $18.36 to $25.50, equating to an approximate annual salary between $52,509 and $72,930 based on a 50-hour workweek, with potential eligibility for monthly bonuses depending on location. You will have opportunities to develop and refine your management skills through ongoing training programs. This role requires someone who is flexible with working various shifts, including weekends, and who is willing to step into all roles within the restaurant when necessary, including cooking, bartending, and guest seating. The Assistant Manager will oversee food quality, inventory, staffing, safety, and compliance with all health and legal regulations.
