This role is a key leadership position within the Food and Beverage division, playing a critical part in managing and optimizing half of the Food and Beverage business operations within the park. Reporting closely to the Director of Food & Beverage and the VP of In-Park Revenue, this position is a major contributor to strategic and tactical initiatives focused on increasing revenue, EBITDA, and guest satisfaction. The Food & Beverage leadership role requires an energetic individual who embodies SeaWorld's positive attitude, commitment to quality, and high standards of guest service throughout all aspects of the operation.
The person in this role will provide strategic direction to salaried team members, overseeing and driving business performance to meet and exceed budget targets. Their responsibilities include direct management of staffing, training, development, corrective action, and sales motivation. An essential aspect of this role is implementing operational procedures, policies, and processes that align with SeaWorld’s long-term growth objectives. This leader will also have direct oversight of department profit and loss, ensuring financial accountability, controlling operating and labor expenses, and supporting consumer event planning.
Additionally, this position is charged with maintaining the highest levels of guest satisfaction and park quality through ongoing monitoring of guest feedback and taking proactive steps for improvements. The role involves extensive coordination within the organization, including collaboration with Marketing, Finance, and Operations departments, ensuring seamless integration of initiatives across the park. It also demands a focus on safety metrics and fostering a safe work environment for team members and guests alike.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar revenue operations. Experience in theme parks or similar multi-outlet venues is highly desirable, as is an understanding of the P&L process. The role requires a hands-on approach, supporting team member motivation, competency development, and career growth while responding effectively to the dynamic needs of the park environment.
This full-time position offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary range of $76,000 to $80,000 plus bonus opportunities. - Related bachelor’s degree preferred
