As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for adhering to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs, maintaining budgeted revenues and costs including labor and supplies, and reviewing monthly profit and loss statements to make necessary business adjustments. You will collaborate closely with the Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute events, ensuring all food preparation, service, and cleanup are managed with excellence. In this fast-paced, high-volume retail and entertainment environment, organization and leadership are key. The Kitchen Manager leads a dynamic team including lead cooks, cooks, dishwashers, and servers, supporting the center’s General Manager on all food-related matters. The role involves estimating food consumption, making appropriate purchases, scheduling staff efficiently, and recruiting and retaining a skilled kitchen team. A commitment to quality is vital, with responsibilities including supervision of food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage to meet company standards consistently. Maintaining cleanliness and safety is also a top priority. The Kitchen Manager facilitates and manages kitchen equipment maintenance, enforces sanitation audits, and adheres strictly to local Department of Health regulations. This position is ideal for individuals with at least three years of kitchen management experience, preferably with a culinary degree or bachelor’s degree, who thrive in a vibrant entertainment and hospitality setting. Experience in banquet and special event catering, as well as holding or pursuing ServSafe certification and instructor certification, are highly valued.
