This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage of $19 to $21 and is eligible for Daily Pay, a unique benefit allowing employees to access earned wages promptly. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Employees in this role are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and short-term disability coverage, along with life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance. The Maintenance Technician II plays a critical role in maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the operability of Goodwill-owned facilities. Duties include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), hydraulics systems, as well as painting, welding, and carpentry tasks. The role supports the organization’s mission by maintaining a safe and functional environment for staff and customers alike. The position requires a hands-on approach, working with a variety of tools and technologies, including the use of smart phone apps and a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for documentation and workflow management. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, alongside 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience. Successful candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work well in a team-oriented environment. Additionally, candidates must meet age and licensing requirements to operate company vehicles and must pass background and motor vehicle record checks. Physical demands include frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and continuous movement such as walking, standing, and reaching.
