The role available with Avfuel Corporation involves serving as an integral part of the trip planning and flight support team. The successful candidate will act as the initial point of contact for customers, providing expert assistance in trip planning, worldwide forecasting, and computer-based flight planning. This position requires preparation and distribution of hardcopy weather briefings and coordination of worldwide services to support flight operations. The individual will be tasked with addressing and solving any issues that arise during the trip planning and flight support processes, requiring a high level of problem-solving skills, professionalism, and customer service orientation.
This position demands flexibility for shift work, including varying days, nights, and weekends, to accommodate the dynamic nature of aviation scheduling and operations. Candidates will be expected to maintain thorough knowledge of aviation terms, geographic locations, and business aircraft operations to efficiently manage trip itineraries and ensure compliance with relevant aviation regulations and best practices.

- 2 years’ international trip planning or part 91/135 scheduling dispatching experience
- bachelor’s degree specializing in Aviation or Meteorology
- ability to work a varying schedule including nights and weekends
- high level of written and verbal communication skills
- strong customer service orientation and ability to sustain professionalism under extreme pressure
- high level of problem solving skills
- proficient computer and typing skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Windows based program
- must have a strong geographic knowledge
