The role of Senior Coordinator within the Special Events team is instrumental to the Associate Vice Chancellor (AVC) for Special Events and University Ceremonies. This full-time position, with scheduled hours of 37.5 per week and an hourly salary range of $25.47 to $30.00, supports the AVC by managing complex projects, coordinating travel, and providing comprehensive administrative and logistical support. The Senior Coordinator acts as a pivotal communication liaison for the office, especially when the AVC is traveling, ensuring critical information flows smoothly and urgent matters are addressed promptly. Beyond regular business hours, this role demands flexibility, requiring the candidate to provide event support during nights and weekends as assigned. The Senior Coordinator's responsibilities include coordinating the planning and implementation of multiple special event projects, managing schedules with precision, and collaborating effectively with team members and university staff to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
