We are currently hiring immediately for a part-time Ambulatory Services Housekeeper position located at Lehigh Valley Health Network - 5074 Kernsville Road, Orfield, PA 18069. This role offers a set schedule with no weekends or holidays, requiring 3 hours of work on Tuesday and Thursday nights and 4 hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights, providing a balanced work-life arrangement. The position offers a fixed pay rate of $17.25 per hour. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining a clean and safe environment within ambulatory healthcare facilities by performing specialized cleaning duties aimed at disinfecting restrooms, patient areas, exam rooms, procedure rooms, and specialty areas. Duties include disinfecting surfaces with provided chemicals, dusting and polishing furniture, vents, window sills, and ledges, cleaning reception glass and entrance windows, moving and realigning chairs, stools, waste bins, and equipment for thorough cleaning, cleaning floors by sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming, performing carpet and upholstery spot cleaning, managing trash and biohazardous waste, replenishing supplies like soap and paper towels, maintaining equipment and storage areas, and working with alarm systems. Candidates must have previous housekeeping experience and demonstrate dependability. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and employees must be able to perform all duties safely and efficiently.
