The role operates on a non-exempt basis under the supervision of the cafe manager and offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $17.87, with additional tips significantly increasing total compensation to approximately $21.87 to $25.87 per hour. As a Part-Time Barista at Alfred Coffee, you would play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. You would be the friendly face greeting guests, anticipating their needs, and providing detailed explanations of Alfred’s beverage and food offerings. Crafting consistent, high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to company standards is a key function of this role. Additionally, you will manage and maintain coffee equipment while deepening your knowledge of coffee and tea origins and flavor profiles to better serve customers. Your responsibilities extend beyond beverage preparation; you will also prepare food items in compliance with Alfred’s recipes and food handling protocols.
