This role is for Host or Hostess positions available both full-time and part-time, with immediate hiring. Hosts at P.F. Chang's play a fundamental role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests from their moment of entry until they leave the restaurant. You will manage the flow of the dining area efficiently to ensure that guests have a seamless dining experience. This includes greeting guests courteously, answering phones, managing reservations, seating guests accurately and efficiently, and providing information pertaining to wait times when necessary. Additionally, you are expected to uphold the restaurant's standards for sanitation and safety, which includes maintaining cleanliness in designated areas such as the front door, host desk, and lobby. The role also requires learning and understanding the seating layout of the restaurant, how tables are assigned to servers, and the protocol for handling food delivery. Hosts are also responsible for assisting with side-work duties as required during shifts to support overall restaurant operations. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour based on experience and includes a variety of benefits such as flexible scheduling, paid on the job training, employee meal discounts, and opportunities for career advancement through promoting from within.
