The role of Bistro Cook at DelMonte Hotel Group is a vital position within their culinary team, designed for motivated and skilled individuals passionate about food preparation and guest satisfaction. As a Bistro Cook, you will be trusted with the responsibility of assisting in setting up and closing the kitchen area, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring all equipment and utensils are ready for smooth operations. You will prepare bistro and banquet fare that meets menu specifications, utilizing a variety of cooking methods and equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and Turbo Chef systems.
In addition to cooking duties, this position requires maintaining strict adherence to food safety policies and sanitation standards to ensure the highest quality and safety for all prepared food. The role also involves inventory management tasks such as ordering, maintaining proper supply levels, and assisting with cost control measures to support the kitchen’s financial efficiency.
