This position is for a Ramp Supervisor role with part-time shifts starting at $22.00 per hour. The Ramp Supervisor will play a pivotal leadership role by overseeing, directing, and coordinating the efforts of ground, line, and cabin service personnel while ensuring the timely delivery of services as contracted by various airlines. The role demands accountability for ensuring safety and compliance with operational standards, implementing company policies, managing client relations, and maintaining financial performance within ramp operations. The Ramp Supervisor will be entrusted with establishing shift assignments for employees, monitoring the safe operation of ground support equipment, coordinating with assigned carriers to meet cargo and baggage service requirements, and ensuring equipment readiness and safety. They will also be responsible for collaborating with other supervisors and departments to ensure smooth operational workflows. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet strict time constraints, manage manpower requirements fairly, and adhere to attendance and tardiness standards. A key aspect of this role is to ensure all crews are properly briefed before flights, including understanding their assigned positions and flight procedures. The Ramp Supervisor position offers a critical leadership role within GAT Airline Ground Support that involves maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer service while fostering a positive and compliant working environment at Tulsa International Airport.
- Must possess computer experience (6+ months) and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to navigate electronic devices (computers, fax machines, printers, timeclock, etc)
- A proven track record in supervising a business unit
- Experience in operational planning and resource allocation
- Working knowledge of GSE maintenance issues
- Experience and understanding of commercial issues in aviation
- Must have a high school diploma, GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Capable of processing information in a timely manner
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English
- Basic computer literacy
- Previous ramp or airline experience
- Must successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certifications throughout employment
- Must clear an FBI fingerprint background check
