The role of Food and Beverage Server at Boyd Gaming Corporation is critical in delivering excellent customer service and contributing to the overall guest experience. This full-time employment position involves receiving and serving food and beverage orders to guests within the company’s casino dining establishments. The role requires a friendly and courteous interaction with patrons, ensuring that their dining needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Candidates will utilize a computerized guest check system to manage orders accurately and handle payments when required, demonstrating proficiency with technology in a restaurant setting. Key responsibilities include greeting guests, taking and processing orders, delivering prepared food and beverages, balancing and carrying trays weighing up to 30 pounds, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas. It is important for candidates to have strong communication skills, be able to stand and walk for most of their shifts, and be physically capable of lifting and carrying trays of up to 40 pounds.
