In this role, you will be instrumental to the in-store customer experience, operating as a key member of the sales and service team. Your responsibilities will involve sustaining an upbeat, lively store atmosphere for clients and teammates alike, engaging customers with personalized, memorable service at the cash wrap, and efficiently handling register/POS transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges with accuracy. You will ensure merchandise is correctly priced and rung up, and communicate product information, care instructions, timelines, and delivery details effectively to meet customer expectations. The role requires you to affirm customer purchases, suggest complementary items to complete selections, keep customers informed of promotions, and share insightful testimonials about products or store events to enhance the overall experience. Additionally, you will maintain visual merchandising and the cash wrap’s condition while leveraging all available resources to fulfill customer needs and resolve issues promptly. Managing multiple client engagements simultaneously, contributing to a respectful and fair team environment aligned with the company’s People-First Philosophy, and complying with all company policies are essential aspects of your daily responsibilities. This position requires someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial setting, consistently exceeding sales goals, capturing and reconnecting with customers, and promoting company offerings including credit card services and new product launches. You must have a good understanding of customer needs through thoughtful questioning and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Availability is crucial, with full-time associates expected to have open schedules to meet business demands. Part-time associates must have flexible weekend and weekday availability as specified. Physical demands include mobility on the sales floor for extended periods, operation of POS systems, and the ability to safely lift and maneuver medium to large items up to 75 pounds. The role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.95 to $18.95, incorporating pay variations based on education, experience, certifications, and geography.
