The Food Service Manager position at the Center for Men in Bloomington is a full-time, non-exempt role with an hourly wage starting at $17.50. This role is central to overseeing the kitchen operations that serve three nutritious meals daily, seven days a week, to a guest population ranging from 100 to 350 individuals. The Food Service Manager is responsible for the effective management of all operational aspects of the kitchen, including inventory control, menu planning, health and safety compliance, and regular maintenance of kitchen equipment. The Food Service Manager cultivates a positive work environment, providing consistent performance feedback, resolving conflicts, and promoting team building to maintain morale and staff effectiveness. Beyond kitchen operations, the manager controls the food service budget, placing orders, managing inventory judiciously, and adjusting menus for nutritional balance and guest satisfaction.
