Our success is deeply rooted in the dedication and expertise of our teams, who embody the core values of people, passion, and pride. We are proud to operate in one of the most dynamic and fast-paced industries, where every role plays a critical part in ensuring safety, precision, and on-time performance. We are currently seeking a Lead Ramp Agent to join our dedicated workforce. This supervisory role is essential in managing the outbound baggage area and overseeing the loading and unloading of luggage, freight, and cargo from commercial aircraft. The Lead Ramp Agent plays a crucial role in coordinating safe and efficient operations on the ramp, including the operation of various specialized commercial vehicles. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks such as heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and stretching. As a Lead Ramp Agent, you will be responsible for leading a team in the movement of cargo and baggage to and from aircraft and between different facilities within the airport environment. You will interpret and complete critical documentation related to aircraft weight and balance, hazardous materials, and cargo routing, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. This role demands keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety, as you will oversee the secure receipt and dispatch of flights while ensuring the integrity of all loads. In addition to operational responsibilities, the Lead Ramp Agent will support and mentor fellow ramp agents, providing on-the-job training and assisting with airline-specific procedures. This leadership function is vital to maintaining professional conduct, safety, and efficiency among ground personnel. The role also involves collaboration with various departments and adherence to company and carrier standards. Our company offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $22.50 and provides numerous benefits that promote career growth and work-life balance. We prioritize safety, compliance, and wellbeing, enforcing strict substance misuse policies and fostering a safe work environment. The role occasionally requires working in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, fumes, and weather, and mandates the ability to perform physically intensive tasks safely and effectively. We are committed to accommodating employees with disabilities to support their success in this role.
