The position being offered is for an Aircraft Ramp Agent, which involves a variety of responsibilities related to loading, unloading, and servicing customer aircraft. This is a hands-on role requiring physical activity such as lifting and moving baggage, cargo, and airmail, as well as operating specialized motorized equipment used on the ramp. The Ramp Agent will also be tasked with guiding aircraft safely on the ground, coordinating pushback operations, and ensuring all baggage and cargo are safeguarded against weather elements, loss, theft, or damage.
The successful candidate will be required to complete ramp and Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) training to obtain necessary airport security clearance, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and regulations. The role demands attention to detail in completing paperwork and digital records associated with each work assignment, reflecting the company’s standards for accuracy and reliability. The ability to communicate effectively using verbal instructions as well as radio equipment is critical for maintaining coordination and safety during operations.

- valid in-state driver's license

- must be at least 18 years of age
- must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security
- must be able to lift / carry / push / pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces
- must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods
- must be able to work in cramped or high places
- must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs
- high school diploma or GED
