Responsibilities extend to wildlife hazard management, security access control, emergency response coordination, incident investigation, and compliance enforcement. The Airport Operations Manager is tasked with implementing snow and ice control procedures during inclement weather and issuing Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) to communicate operational impacts to FAA and airport users effectively. In addition to operational duties, the position serves as a key liaison to tenants, air carriers, internal departments, and external agencies facilitating cooperation and ensuring a customer-focused approach.
