The role of Airport Manager at Avis Budget Group is a dynamic and leadership-focused position, designed to oversee the full spectrum of rental operations at a designated airport location. This role is essential for ensuring seamless and profitable rental services, high customer satisfaction, and motivated employees working effectively together. The Airport Manager is responsible for managing all airport activities, including customer service at rental counters, vehicle rental processing, and the preparation and cleanliness of returned vehicles for subsequent rentals. A critical component of this role involves staffing management—planning and implementing schedules aligned with business demands and overseeing both exempt and nonexempt personnel to maximize operational efficiency.
Furthermore, the Airport Manager ensures efficient and customer-friendly transportation services, such as shuttling customers between rental counters, vehicles, and airline terminals. Handling customer complaints with promptness and care is also a key responsibility, as is providing detailed statistical reports regarding transactions and revenue projections to support strategic decision-making.
