The agent handles supplies and furnishings meticulously, replacing or installing items as necessary to maintain operational readiness and comfort for passengers and crew. Working closely with Ramp agents, Cabin Agents assist in the coordination of aircraft turnaround processes. This includes performing Foreign Object Debris (FOD) walks in the ramp area to maintain safety and marshalling aircraft during arrivals and departures to ensure smooth operations on the tarmac. Cabin Agents also ensure that all necessary ground equipment is properly positioned and available in both the ramp area and the bag room for upcoming flights. An essential part of the role is understanding and complying with safety procedures, including reading and interpreting aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous materials identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage routing tags.
