CAMS is currently seeking a part-time Front Desk Receptionist to join their team on-site at the Recreation Center located in a community in Kure Beach, NC. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic community environment and is passionate about providing exceptional support to residents and guests. The position involves working every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. during the months of November through March, and from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from April through October. Additionally, the opportunity exists to pick up extra evening shifts during the week to cover weekday receptionist call-outs, usually between 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The starting hourly rate for this position is $15.50, reflecting CAMS' commitment to fairly compensating their team members while providing growth opportunities. In this essential role, the Front Desk Receptionist will serve as the primary point of contact for residents and guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere at the Recreation Center. Responsibilities include greeting guests, verifying guest passes, assisting with various administrative tasks as directed by the Community Manager, and maintaining the physical appearance and security of the on-site office. During the busier summer months, the Front Desk Receptionist will take on additional duties such as closing umbrellas at the three outdoor pools each day and securing the pool gates, as well as opening and locking the Recreation Center for the community. The role calls for a highly organized multitasker who is capable of managing time effectively, prioritizing tasks, and performing complex duties independently. Exceptional customer service skills are paramount, as the receptionist will often handle inquiries from owners and guests, escalating urgent matters to the Community Manager to ensure timely responses.
