The Bartender position at Perry's is crucial in maintaining the high standards of service that the restaurant is known for. The role involves ensuring cleanliness throughout the bar and lounge areas while keeping all necessary items well stocked, including beer, wine, liquor, garnishes, plate ware, silverware, and glassware. Bartenders play a key role in enhancing the guest experience by suggestively selling appropriate food and beverage items using menus and promotional materials. They utilize and follow Perry's Restaurants' 40 steps of service to guarantee that every guest enjoys a complete and satisfying dining experience. Accurate use of the Aloha Point of Sale system is also essential for proper ordering and entering of all food and beverage items. Bartenders must hold a TABC Certification, and depending on the store location, a Servsafe or similar Food Handler's Certificate may be required.
