The Dining Services Assistant Manager plays a crucial role at Touchmark by partnering closely with the Dining Services Director to ensure that every resident and guest enjoys an outstanding dining experience daily. This is a dynamic, service-oriented leadership position where you will have the opportunity to hire, lead, mentor, train, and develop a dedicated team of dining room staff. Your primary responsibility is to uphold and exceed the Touchmark Gold Standard by teaching staff proper dining room etiquette, steps of service, meal handling procedures, and exemplary customer service skills. This role involves a balance of hands-on supervision and administrative responsibilities, including scheduling and other operational tasks.
This position offers a starting wage of $27.00 per hour or more, depending on experience, and is benefit-eligible. The role is designed to support a healthy work-life balance, with opportunities to return home at a reasonable hour without late-night shifts. - High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in dining services or hospitality management
- Proven leadership experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and motivate team members
- Familiarity with dining operation standards
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to senior living dining services
- Proficiency in scheduling and payroll budgeting
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism
