The Atlanta History Center is a renowned cultural institution located in Buckhead and Midtown, Atlanta. The Center combines history with hospitality, providing memorable experiences for all visitors and event attendees.\n\nThe Bar Manager role at the Atlanta History Center is a full-time position tasked with overseeing all beverage operations for a variety of upscale events including weddings, museum programs, and private functions held at both the Buckhead and Midtown locations. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution and high quality of beverage services, maintaining product consistency and elevating guest experiences. As the leader of a team of approximately 12 bar staff members, the Bar Manager fosters a professional and inclusive environment, encouraging collaboration and maintaining high standards of service. The position requires strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of beverage operations, and the ability to coordinate complex event logistics. Moreover, this role embodies the values of integrity, quality, collaboration, helpfulness, and grace, which are pivotal to the success of the Private Events Department and the Atlanta History Center as a whole. In addition to managing day-to-day bar activities, the Bar Manager ensures compliance with health and safety regulations, oversees inventory and deliveries, and maintains organized and clean bar areas. Competitive pay ranging from $17.50 to $18.50 per hour is offered, with the potential to earn additional event-related income estimated between $12,000 and $15,000 annually.
