Currently, we are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Airline Baggage Handlers. This role plays a critical part in airport operations, ensuring the safe handling and screening of passenger luggage. Starting at $16.00 per hour, this position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, security compliance, and high levels of physical activity. Ideal candidates must be prepared for the physical demands of the role, including lifting baggage up to 75 pounds and being able to stand, bend, stoop, and move consistently throughout their shifts. We provide comprehensive paid training to all employees, perfect for individuals with no prior experience but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. The Airline Baggage Handler responsibilities include verifying passengers' boarding passes with their checked bags, loading luggage onto security screening systems, and collaborating closely with airline ticket counter agents. Working in this position requires adherence to strict airport security protocols, on-the-job security training, and obtaining necessary airport security badges. Strong communication skills are essential, as employees must effectively and clearly engage with passengers while handling safety and security inquiries. Appearance and professionalism are important to us; employees are expected to maintain a business-like image consistent with company standards. This includes wearing clean, well-maintained uniforms and adhering to grooming policies that include rules about facial hair and covering tattoos.
