This role is for an Aircraft Cleaning Supervisor, a critical position within the company responsible for overseeing and assisting in the thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors, as well as managing galley stocking per aircraft specifications. The Aircraft Cleaning Supervisor will have the responsibility of supervising cleaning crews, ensuring that all cleaning tasks adhere strictly to company and client regulations including FAA, TSA, and airline-specific guidelines. The supervisor also acts as a liaison between the crew, airline clients, and company management to address and resolve any operational issues efficiently and maintain a seamless workflow.
The position requires a hands-on approach, as the supervisor will assist the cleaning teams with executing detailed cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, galley stocking, folding blankets, changing pillowcases, adding supplies, garbage removal, positioning seatbelts, cleaning tray tables and windows, upholstery exchange, and rug exchange. Accuracy and timeliness in reporting and communication are paramount to maintain stock levels and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards. The supervisor is expected to foster a positive image of the company, responding courteously to inquiries from airline staff and clients, and ensuring all team members are correctly attired and identified during their shifts.
Working hours may include weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays, with the role occasionally involving exposure to loud noise levels and the requirement to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and climbing stairs. The role also demands full compliance with security protocols, including passing background checks, drug screening, and obtaining a security-sensitive identification badge.
This is a full-time hourly position offering a competitive pay range from $15.00 to $29.21, depending on the airport location.
