The role of Activity Manager at EF Language Abroad Miami is a pivotal position focused on leading and managing social and cultural activities for a diverse student body. Reporting directly to the School Director, the Activity Manager is responsible for crafting a year-round calendar of events that includes everything from free campus activities and seasonal celebrations to large-scale excursions and special programs. This role requires a dedicated leader who can manage a team of Activity Leaders, Resident Assistants, and seasonal staff, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and student satisfaction.
In this role, the Activity Manager will organize logistics including transportation and safety measures, adhering strictly to EF’s risk-management policies. Additionally, they will handle budgeting and financial oversight to ensure cost-effective operations and meet engagement targets. Negotiation skills are essential, as the role involves securing partnerships with local businesses and venues to enhance the value and accessibility of activities offered.
The ideal candidate for Activity Manager will bring a blend of operational experience, creativity, and interpersonal skills. They must be adept at managing staff, resolving conflicts, and adapting to rapidly changing circumstances, often working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
