The role of the Cabin Agent at Delta Airlines involves key responsibilities centered around preparing and servicing aircraft interiors to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for passengers and crew. This position requires meticulous attention to detail to clean and service areas such as the cabin, cockpit, galleys, and lavatories. Cabin agents must effectively prepare aircraft for customer boarding and departure by cleaning seats, seat pockets, floors, and other cabin furnishings according to detailed specifications. The role also involves assisting ramp agents after cabin cleaning is complete, performing foreign object debris (FOD) walks in ramp areas, and marshaling aircraft during arrivals and departures. A strong understanding of aircraft operations is essential for this role, including reading and interpreting weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous materials identification labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage routing tags.
