The role of Stainless Steel Grinder/Polisher - No. 4 Finish (Food Processing Tanks) is pivotal within Ensight Solutions/Likwifier’s manufacturing team. This position focuses on applying expert grinding and polishing techniques to stainless steel components, ensuring a flawless No. 4 sanitary finish on sheet metal surfaces including tanks, fittings, and other vital parts. The finishing process is crucial for maintaining the integrity and cleanliness of food-grade equipment, where each surface must be smooth, crevice-free, and compliant with sanitary standards to prevent contamination and uphold product safety. Candidates for this role should bring at least two years of experience in grinding and polishing stainless steel, preferably in environments focused on tank fabrication or food processing equipment. The ideal professional will exhibit a keen eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship, consistently producing high-quality finishes that align with ASME and sanitary regulations. Responsibilities involve preparing and finishing weld seams so that they blend seamlessly with adjoining surfaces, operating various finishing tools safely and efficiently, inspecting surfaces for imperfections such as scratches or pits, and maintaining all tools in optimal condition. This position operates on a shift from Monday to Thursday, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., offering a competitive wage between $22 and $29 per hour depending on experience.
