The Customs Entry Coordinator role at FedEx Logistics is a critical position responsible for managing all aspects of import documentation and compliance related to shipments entering the United States. This role ensures that all shipments meet the legal requirements set forth by U.S. Customs and various government agencies. The coordinator will oversee the accurate preparation and processing of customs entry documents, classification of goods, and coordination with customs officials and other internal departments to guarantee smooth and timely customs clearance. With an emphasis on impeccable customer service, this role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and to maintain accurate records.
This position is full-time and offers a competitive salary range of $20.50 to $27.06 per hour, reflecting experience and skill level, with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Paid training is provided to prepare employees to successfully perform their duties. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and adept at handling high volumes of time-sensitive work. They must be capable of interacting professionally with customers, carriers, brokers, government agencies, and internal teams at all management levels. The position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the use of various office equipment such as phones, fax machines, photocopiers, printers, and scanners.
