Hotel Management & Consulting, Inc., the parent company supporting WoodSpring Suites, is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join their team in Daytona Beach. This full-time leadership role offers a competitive salary range of $43,888 to $47,500 annually, dependent on experience, alongside an attractive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and an Employee Assistance Program.
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will play a vital role in supporting the General Manager to ensure seamless hotel operations and guest satisfaction. The AGM will lead the team during the General Manager's absence, helping to drive a performance-based culture that balances hard work with respect for personal life. This includes overseeing daily operational activities across departments such as front desk, housekeeping, sales, marketing, and finance. Core responsibilities include training and guiding the staff, maintaining high guest service standards, managing financial reporting including payroll and labor tracking, and fostering positive relationships with guests, vendors, and the surrounding community.
This position requires an energetic and hands-on leadership style, with the AGM actively engaging in daily tasks such as housekeeping support and public space maintenance as needed to ensure operational continuity. - High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 1 years experience in hotel leadership including front desk and back-of-house operations
- ability to perform tasks involving kneeling, squatting, standing, sitting, bending and twisting for long periods of time
- ability to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
- strong computer proficiency
